What's new on our website? Last updated 2/25/10 - The 2010 version of our Gospel Truth tour includes a great song, new to Praises Unlimited, called "Comfort Ye". Click HERE to have a listen! In 2009, Praises Unlimited presented 18 musical programs to 9 different Assisted Living/Retirement Communities, served 3 Sundays as the temporary Praise Team for a local church and performed 2 concerts at local churches! What an exciting year! We are having a great time and the blessings we get back from the residents at the communities we visit feel like they far outweighs the gift we are sharing with them. We are looking forward to seeing where God takes us in 2010 and Tour dates for both our 2010 Gospel Truth Tour and Road to the Cross have been published and are starting to book! For more information click on either The Gospel Truth Tour! button or one of the Road to the Cross Buttons. Or click here to read more! You can hear music recorded live from our Rediscover Christmas Tour! Click Rediscover Christmas Music and sing along! What happens when we include a song called "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas!" in our Christmas Tour? People get a little bit crazy! Need proof? Take a look at the picture below!
Clarke & Jen want a Hippopotamus for Christmas! Oh yeah...and world peace too! What are we all about? Praises Unlimited is an independent Christian Praise Team. Our mission is to use our musical talents to share the message of salvation anywhere, and with anyone we can! Sharing Christ through Christian Music is our motto and we strive to give the first fruits of our talents back to the Glory of God in everything we do. We are a self-contained unit which means we are able to come to your facility with our own instruments, sound and video equipment. This helps us ensure the highest quality performance possible and minimize impacts to your facility and your budget. Typically, we do not charge to come to your house of worship, nursing home, assisted living facility, school or other non-profit organization. One the the most common questions we are asked when calling to book our programs is whether or not we are trying to actively convert or recruit people to our faith or beliefs? The short answer is no, we are not hard core evangelists. We understand that we are bringing our program to folks of many faiths, and various beliefs. We have found that almost everyone enjoys the content and quality of the programs we present regardless of their personal beliefs. Our programs feature Christian Music, video and readings from the Holy Bible presented in an entertaining and comfortable style. After our programs we always take time to meet and greet each resident and thank them for spending part of their day with us. We never force any material or literature on the residents, but we do offer them a small remembrance of our visit and make available a large print copy of the Gospel of John. Each resident is free to accept or decline whatever we may offer. If you are interested in having Praises Unlimited visit your facility, send Mike an email at mike@PraisesUnlimited.com . If you would like to be on our emailing list, just say so in your note. Jesus loves you! He paid the price of your salvation by dying on the cross and then rising again! Because He paid this price, you can live forever with Him! Hallelujah Some Tour dates for both The 2010 Gospel Truth Tour and Road to the Cross have recently been announced! We are excited to be offering both of these programs again in 2010 and look forward to bringing them to back to some familiar locations as well as to some new locations this year. The Gospel Truth Tour
features many beloved Gospel songs which are the framework for our Gospel
readings and narrative. Always pop The Gospel Truth features 26 songs which includes: I'll Fly Away - Do Lord! - Take Off Those Rags, Lazarus - Oh Precious Lord - Amazing Grace - Just a Closer Walk with Thee - Soon and Very Soon - How Great Thou Art and many others! At each performance of The Gospel Truth, we are making a large print copy "The Gospel of John" available to residents at no charge. 2010 - The Gospel Truth Tour! January 31 - Solheim Lutheran Home - Chapel - Eagle Rock, CA 2:30pm February 21 - Solheim Lutheran Home - Skilled Nursing Dining Room Eagle Rock, CA 2:30pm March 7 - Vintage Simi Hills - Simi Valley, CA 3:00pm
Road to the Cross uses Music, Video and Narration to tell the story of the events leading up to Jesus crucifixion, from the viewpoint of some unusual witnesses! These eye witnesses include: the Cup of the Last Supper, The Crown of Thorns, The Robe, the Cross and others who share the story from their perspective. You can think of Road to the Cross as a kind of musical Passion Play with a contemporary twist.
The story is brought to life by our musicians and a skilled group of vocalists who synchronize their songs to the videos and serve as the voices for the eye witnesses.
The music is dramatic and emotional, and the programs ends with the joyous news of the resurrection of Christ! A powerful and uplifting finale will leave your residents with a feeling of excitement and hope!

Here's our story: One week before our first tour date, our Roland VS-2480 goes on the fritz. This is bad because all of our audio runs through this board and it also has multiple pre-recorded tracks on it that are integrated into our show. If the board does not work, the show does not go on. After a call to Roland Support and a couple of days working on the board to confirm the problem, it was determined that a replacement part and general health check was required. At that point, both cost of the replacement part and repair turnaround time became critical issues. A call to Roland's US headquarters and Mike was talking directly to Dennis Houlihan, President of Roland US, who promised to look into assisting with both issues. The next morning, Mike received a call from Roger, a member of Dennis' team who set-up a priority service call for Friday morning. Early Friday morning, Clarke and Mike drove to the Roland repair center. They were greeted by Roger who personally interfaced with the support team to ensure our repair received top priority. By 1:30 that same day, the board was repaired (at a reasonable cost) and back in our hands! Mike and Clarke decided to stop by and thank Dennis for his support and drop off a Constant Disciple Hat and CD as a token of our thanks. Much to our surprise, we found ourselves being thanked by Dennis for giving Roland an opportunity to stand behind their product and help us in our time of need! Frankly, we feel God has blessed us by leading us to use Roland products and we also thank God for allowing us to be connected directly to Dennis who without hesitation provided an exceptional level of support! Dennis and Team, Thanks for your support! May God bless you and thank you for keeping the music playing on our Gospel Truth Tour!
